Return Policy 

We know that ordering things online can be a gamble since you can’t touch the items or try anything on, and because of that we try our best to be very return-friendly. However, as in life, there are certain rules that must be followed so that we can help you out!

7-Day Free Shipping Returns

• We offer free returns if you ship your returns within 7 days back to us. So we highly encourage you to try on your garments the day you get them and make sure you are happy with the size, color, and fit.  And we know you're going to be too excited to not try them on asap!
• All returns must be unworn, unwashed and have all tags, including any Social Butterfly Couture hangtags, attached.
• Include your return form and original receipt. (It helps us out if you circle the item(s) you wish to return.)
• You may purchase merchandise from this web site by using any one of the payment options listed. Social Butterfly Couture reserves the right to change its payment procedures at any time without prior notice to you. 
• Please look over your order as soon as you get it in your hands. If you think that you've received a defective item, contact our customer service team at info@socialbutterflycouture.com within 3 business days of receipt of your order. If you were sent incorrect items or are missing items from your order, please let us know as soon as possible so we can get that mishap sorted out for you!
• Anything purchased at a discounted price is a FINAL SALE and is not eligible for return.

30-Day Return Policy

We will accept items returned within 30 days if they follow the policy below, but we highly encourage you to use our 7-day free shipping process.

• Returned items must remain un-washed, un-worn, and all tags must still be attached.
• Include your return form and original receipt. (It helps us out if you circle the item(s) you wish to return.)
• If you choose to return items to us after 7 days, the cost of shipping is your responsibility and is non-refundable, unless there was a mistake on our end.
• Please allow our team 2 business days to process your return once it is received at our warehouse.
• We will not except any returns after 30 days.  Due to our fashion selections for each popular holiday, its important to our customers to have the most up-to-date fashions, especially if its for an event. Please allow 5-10 days for package transit. This will ensure that we receive your return within the 30 day window.

• Items can be returned for store credit only, issued in the form of a gift card/store credit sent via email. We do not issue cash or credit card refunds.

• Anything purchased at a discounted price is a FINAL SALE and is not eligible for return.

Exchanges

We have a limited number of each swoon-worthy style featured on the site and, because of this, we can’t guarantee an exchange. We will do our absolute best to grab you that last size medium in that sexy red dress for your holiday party, but we can't always guarantee we will have it our warehouse. Luckily, Social Butterfly Couture feels your pain and love clothes just as much as you do, so we will issue you a store credit in the form of a gift card/store credit via email as soon as we receive your return! (If the right size in the right style is available, you can use your shiny new gift card to snatch it up right away!).

Hassle-Free Returns

We’ve worked really hard to try and make the returns process as simple as we can to keep you from pulling your hair out. (Trust us, we’ve been there!) We’ve spelled out the process below so that you’ll know just what to expect. All we need you to do is fill out the return form included with your order and slip it into the package with your original receipt and the item you are returning. We’ll take it from there! Don’t forget that your original shipping cost is non-refundable.

Once our favorite postman drops your return off at our warehouse, Social Butterfly Couture team will unpack it and put all of your information into the system as quickly as they can! Even though they’re the fastest returns 'butterflies' we’ve ever seen, please allow 2 business days for your gift card to be issued via email. The automated email will be sent to the email address used to place the order – we cannot change this! (We promise, we have tried!)

Gift Cards (Store Credit)

Oh, store credit. That beautiful little thing that allows you to be the proud owner of fabulous pieces that’ll have everyone you encounter asking "who's that girl?!" Here are a few things to remember about your store credit issued in the form of a gift card and send via email. If we missed anything just drop us a line at info@socialbutterflycouture.com.

• If you have your eye on that must-have maxi and it’s a little more than your gift card is worth, an additional form of payment will be required at checkout.
• Gift cards never expire, but we doubt you’ll hold onto it for very long!
• Your use of the Gift Card constitutes your agreement to our Legal Terms

Changing or Canceling Your Order

Sometimes something happens and you need to change or cancel your order. We totally understand and are here to help, but you must contact us immediately! The Social Butterfly Couture team are always trying to beat their records, which means they pack and ship orders fast! Once they initially process your order in the warehouse we will be unable to make any changes to your order.

Adding Items to an Order You Just Placed

Have you ever had that moment when you’ve just submitted your order and you see a top that makes your heart stop? Well, we have. First, contact us immediately! We may be able to add the item to your existing order, but only if Social Butterfly Couture team have not already processed your order. We cannot add additional items to your order once it has been processed. If you miss that window, place a new order for that can’t miss item, and, if it is within 48 hours of your previous order, contact us immediately. We will do our best to ship it out with your first order. Just email us at info@socialbutterflycouture.com and include both order numbers in your message.

FINDING THE RIGHT FIT

We love fashion and we’re proud to offer a variety of great styles from amazing designers. This means that sizes may vary from piece to piece though. Our regular models all wear size small but are typically 5’8” tall, so please take into consideration where the length may fall, may differ on you. We highly encourage our customers to write a review on the items they purchase and send us a photo, as this helps other buyers see first hand on women of all shapes and sizes.

SIZE GUIDELINE

Because we all come in different sizes and shapes, the fashion industry has created a basic standard for designing and manufacturing clothes. However, because sizing and cut can vary between brands, please use this information as a general guide. If you are between sizes, we recommend to order the next size up, as garments will fit better when altered to fit your body shape. Smaller items typically cannot be let out.

MEASURING TIPS

Bust: Measure the fullest part of your bust and make sure the measuring tape fits comfortably.
Waist: Make sure the measuring tape fits comfortably around the narrowest part of your waist.
Hips: Place the measuring tape below your waist and above your thigh. Make sure the tape fits comfortably around your body.

For Shipping, please allow 7-10 business days for this item to be delivered by ground to you unless stated otherwise on the product page.

DOMESTIC

At this time, Social Butterfly Couture ships merchandise to locations within the United States. The risk of loss and title for all merchandise ordered on this Web site pass to you when the merchandise is delivered to the shipping carrier.

We process orders in our boutique in the order that we receive them - this means orders that come in on a Friday after we close at 5:00pm, do not begin processing until Monday when we open at 9:00am (if you are the 10th order that comes in over the weekend, you will be the 10th order in line that we process on Monday). Once your item has been verified, your payment authorized (24-48 hours depending on your credit card/financial institution), it then begins to be processed and pulled from our warehouse. We use a Quality Control team to inspect our items before they are shipped to ensure good quality products to our customers. Each item is carefully hand packaged and a personal note card is included from our Editor because we appreciate our customers business. Our shipping team will issue you a tracking number when your item is ready to ship.

We use a variety of shipping companies who provide ground transportation and shipping prices are based on the weight of each item by USPS standards. In an effort to offer low prices shipping to our customers, please allow 4-10 business days of your items to arrive (depending on your location, many items ship can be received within a week). We are not responsible for forces of nature such as weather that can affect delays in delivery by mail, ground or air.  We are not responsible for items left outside at residential or business addresses once delivered.

We highly encourage our customers to allow 2 weeks in advance of any event so we can get you the item on time. This also allows us time to resend you a different size should the first one not fit the way you want it. With that being said, we make every effort to get our items to our customers ASAP - If you have a special event and need something sooner, please contact us directly and we'll see what we can do to get your item out to you priority shipping for any additional shipping costs the customer is willing to upgrade too. Please contact us at info@socialbutterflycouture.com if you have any further questions or special requests.
